Third generation? Comfort with greater lightness

We have lightened the construction and simplified the technology. The main thing remained – the ability to extract maximum comfort from your car's boot. The Nestbox Campingbox has reached its third generation for the 2026 season.

12 years ago we replaced the sleeping mat with a sandwich mattress. The pot with a cooker and the canteen with a tank and pump. That opened the boot to experiences. It had never been easier to set out on a modern camping trip. The third generation continues to develop this idea with an emphasis on technical simplicity, lightness and modularity.

What is different now

The foundation is a steel frame protected by komaxit coating, which gives the entire construction strength and rigidity even after many seasons of use. The visible parts are made of durable plywood with an HPL surface. Very lightweight alucobond is also now used to a greater extent.

As far as technology is concerned, from the user's perspective everything remains unchanged – gas burners, sink, water, and optionally a fridge. One of the goals for the third generation was to simplify the technology and thereby simultaneously increase user comfort and reliability.

Modularity stands out even more in the third generation. When you get a different car, the Nestbox adapts. The essentials – namely the pull-out kitchen and the slatted base with mattress – are uniform across all Campingboxes. All you need to change is the steel frame. This key feature is also reflected in the naming – a simple S / M / L is all it takes.

Both locks of the pull-out surface can be opened with a single movement.

A cleaner work surface

The cooker is positioned in the centre of the work surface, and the sink has found its place at the edge.

Water with its own source

The pump with its own source is built directly into the tap and operates independently of the car's electrical system.

Flexible fridge power supply

The fridge can be connected to the car's electrical system or to an external power source.

Load, experience, unload

It couldn't be simpler. No tools, no drilling, no homologation. You place the Nestbox in the boot, secure it to the lashing eyes and you're ready to go. And when ordinary days return, you can restore the car to its original state just as easily.

A head chef anywhere

Open the boot, slide out the kitchen drawer and get to it. With a gas cooker, running water, a sink and a work surface, nothing will hold you back. What you eat and where is entirely your decision.

A bed in three minutes

Fold down the rear seats and extend the slatted base with its supports. Comfortable sleep on a sandwich mattress is ready in three minutes.
