Scarpa F1 3.0

The whole shell concept is built around Axial Alpine technology. The slimmed-down shell makes the boot lighter, follows the anatomy of the foot closely and provides better feel and more precise power transfer to the ski.

The stiffness needed for the descents and the required torsional control come from the X-CAGE EVO cuff reinforcement and CARBON CORE EVO, a carbon component placed inside the shell. Both systems stiffen the boot exactly where it matters, without adding unnecessary weight. CARBON CORE EVO improves power transfer to the ski along the entire length of the shell, while a significantly increased cuff range of motion enhances walking comfort.

The asymmetric tongue adds comfort, makes getting in and out of the boot easier and allows a more natural stride, yet still provides excellent support on the way down.

An easy-to-operate manual mechanism switches between walk and ski mode. The foot is held in the boot simply but effectively by three systems: BOA closure for fast, precise tightening; Fast Buckle Closure for individual adjustment, with an easy-to-grip buckle shape and graphic markings for even settings; and a Velcro® power strap.

The lightweight Vibram®/SCARPA® UFO EVO sole guarantees secure movement on rock, ice and snow, and its tread pattern prevents snow from building up between the boot and the binding.

The boots are compatible with TLT bindings. Thanks to the Quick Step TLT system at the toe, stepping in and out of the binding is far easier, even in deep snow. SCARPA uses the Quick Step TLT system under an official licence from Dynafit.

The heat-mouldable Pro Flex Evo liners with lacing deliver excellent thermal insulation, breathability, moisture management, comfort and durability. Laces are included.
