Sandwich construction with a lightweight paulownia wood core, backed by fibreglass and carbon reinforcements, delivers strength, stability and excellent torsional stiffness even in broken or soft terrain. Durable steel edges provide confidence on firmer sections, while the sintered base guarantees fast glide across a wide range of snow conditions.
In the 165 cm length, the turn radius is 15 m and the waist width 94 mm.
A ski for advanced skiers – light, with outstanding downhill performance in powder as well as on hard snow and the piste.

Design
Across every discipline – from alpine to touring – we work with the same design concept. We treat a ski as a three-dimensional object. The ski's intended use is integrated as a texture on the base, the colour scheme of the topsheet flows seamlessly into the sidewalls, and on the tail you'll find a subtle nod to the legends of alpine skiing: the first and last letter of their name. Egoé STAR is the first personal ski. It isn't about a brand or a logo — it's about real people, their courage and their stories.
